Corporate Team Building
Hong Kong Yachting can customize a great day out for your work team where you will have to communicate and work with each other to achieve a common goal. Tasks will include hoisting and lowering sail, trimming sails, steering a set course and maneuvering the yacht and navigating through Hong Kong’s busy waterways.
This is the ultimate Hong Kong experience incorporating team building, active participation, healthy competition, excitement and fun. A day spent sailing in and around Hong Kong is an unforgettable experience. We encourage the group to be actively involved in sailing the yacht - it's a great opportunity to learn the fundamentals of performance sailing.
Team building charters can include lunch on one of Hong Kong’s outlying islands and prices start at HKD$1,500 per person.

Have fun! Why do we go sailing. It seems a lot of trouble to go somewhere pretty slowly!
Because:
• It is very clever to make a 13 tonne yacht move efficiently with the wind.
• It takes us into the wilderness within only a few miles of Hong Kong.
• We have to respond to the prevailing conditions and are not in control of the environment
• It is physically and mentally demanding
• The sea, like the bush, puts life into perspective – the busy city will still be going full steam when we get home
• At this time, our whole world is the few people on this boat
Learning Outcomes:
• Acquire some sailing skills.
• Think about the safety of the boat and crew but enjoy something unusual.
• Take responsibility for your actions
• Push yourself into doing something unusual and strenuous.
• Work with others to achieve something that you have had no (or little) experience in.
• Meet and interact with the crew and interesting new people who enjoy yachting.
