Sail Training
Hong Kong Yachting offers sailing courses on our Farr 40 racing yacht. This program is designed for beginners as well as sailors who have had experience as the groups are run in small classes for intimate training.

Our Sail Training Programme is run by David and Angus Harris, Hong Kong Yachting's Owner and Sailing Manager. They both have extensive experience including 5 Sydney to Hobart Races and thousands of sea miles. Both David and Angus sailed the Volvo 60 from Sydney to Hong Kong.

This two day & one evening course will teach you the basics in sailing so that you are useful when you next go out sailing with your “yachtie” friends. You’ll be able to tie a few knots, steer the boat, make sure that they are not breaking the “road” rules, help set & trim the sails, know man overboard procedure etc. Course includes sailing manuals and lunch on both days.

The yacht used for this course is a high performance racing yacht. We'll teach you not only how to sail but how to get the best performance out of the weather conditions and the yacht.
